I recently heard of a famous Physicist who passed away recently and of a well-known conservative thinker who was brilliant explaining his thoughts and why free markets and less government was a way to continue for us in order to live better and more freely from the intruding big brother government proliferating our lives more and more, every year.
This thought saddened me because one of these beautiful minds, chose the wrong path. Whatever you may think of either one of the men, I want to take the time to see what happens to even the best of us after we leave this earthly body:
This is a story of two extraordinary men.
- We are like those men.
- We are confined by this earthly body. But we have a choice today.
- To rely on and have faith in God or deny and have faith in our own destiny.
- The choice is yours. Do you want to go from one confinement into the next?
What afterlife will you choose today?

The Bridge to Life
How to Know God
How can I know God?
…Lord, my prayer is for me to be entirely healed from the lungs, heart and stomach area. I believe this because you say it to be true.
Not because I am anything but because you are everything. Not because I am worthy or sinless but because You are righteous and merciful. Not because of anything I have done for you but because of your everlasting love and compassion for me. You are worthy oh Lord, You are all-powerful, all-knowing and eternal. Lord, I lift my prayers up to You because You are the only one that can answer them. Jesus, Your Son is the Great Healer, and Your Spirit comforts me. What else do I need but to praise and thank you for everything that You have done in my life.
Healer and Redeemer, thank you for allowing me to commune with You. To walk and listen to You. Help me to hear what You say and truly listen to You. To be guided by You and to be filled by You so that I too can be on the same page as Your Spirit when He is hearkening to me to do something…
The above prayer was from my journal a few years ago. I wrote it so that I would be reminded of God’s unending love for us. I also wrote it as a prayer of hope and encouragement. Time and time again, God tells us to trust Him unconditionally. Because He protects us unconditionally. He is above every problem we face and is the ultimate solutions for everything natural and supernatural.
Today, if you feel that your health is failing, or that the circumstances in life are overwhelming your total being, trust in the Lord with all your hearts and do not lean on your own understanding.
He will take care of your health, finances or emotional problems happening in your life. It may not happen instantly or all at once, but in His perfect timing.
All He asks is for you to commit yourself to His Son Jesus and to ask Him to forgive you of your sins. It doesn’t matter what you have done unto until this very moment. What matters is that you put your trust in Jesus who has paid the ultimate price for you by dying on the cross almost 2,000 years ago.
What matters is right now, not the past, and what you do from this point on. Don’t wait, Jesus is there for you. Ask Him to forgive you for all the wrong things that you have done, no matter how horrible you think they are.
Ask Jesus to heal you of all the things that people have to you, no matter how vile they may be. You will see that His love for you is impossible to understand because Jesus will give you peace beyond what you could fathom.
Just do it, he will take care of the rest. He may not heal you instantly, He may not fix your circumstances right away, but He will give you peace through the storms of life. He will, in the long run, heal your whole being. Eternity is what matters. Eternity is your ultimate goal.
We have become the Intolerant Tolerant Church of Jesus Christ. Some in the church believe that God’s Word is too old and antiquated. Some Christians even say that we must get rid of the scripture verses which offend and hurt people’s feeling.
I came to the full knowledge of Jesus and what He did at the cross by someone who cared enough for me eternally. Some people don’t want to share the Good News of the Gospel because they don’t want to be perceived as legalistic or intolerant.
My question to you is, “Would you rather be nice and not tell a person the full counsel of God and lead them astray eternally? Or would you rather share the full Word of God with them and have them thank you eternally?
As for me and my house, we will share the full Gospel with people even if it means that they get offended by what I am saying. I also didn’t like what Christians told me when they shared the Good News with me. But I will forever be grateful to the people who had the courage enough to share the Roman Road with me. If you are a Christian, sharing the gospel in today’s anti-Christian society will offend and hurt people. Share the gospel anyway. The person who receives it will forever thank you. Like me, they will be eternally grateful that someone shared the Good News of Christ with them.

How to Know God
You notice the Line between the verses to the right? Do you ever wonder why some people say there is no God because it’s been thousands of years since the fall and if the story were true, we would all be dead already? The scoffers scoff, the skeptic snarl, the unbelievers smile. When Adam and eve ate of the forbidden fruit. It set a clock between those two verses in chapter 3 of Genesis. That would be the first book of the Bible.
The timeline, some would say, would put us at roughly almost 6,000 years from Genesis to today.
You notice the line to the left? That was what the Prophet Isaiah who wrote this roughly 700 years before Jesus was born. Jesus spoke these words when He first started His ministry after being tempted in the wilderness by the same tempter from the Garden of Eden.
The scripture is quoted in the Gospel of Luke chapter 4 verse 18-19:
‘“THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS UPON ME,
BECAUSE HE ANOINTED ME TO PREACH THE GOSPEL TO THE POOR.
HE HAS SENT ME TO PROCLAIM RELEASE TO THE CAPTIVES,
AND RECOVERY OF SIGHT TO THE BLIND,
TO SET FREE THOSE WHO ARE OPPRESSED, TO PROCLAIM THE FAVORABLE YEAR OF THE LORD and…”’
Here is the cool part, Jesus stops right in the middle of this verse: Why would God do this? Because God is lovingly patient. Jesus quotes His first coming and lets those who hear Him know that God is Love. God is Graceful. God is Merciful. He came to save all those who call upon His name. In Peter’s second letter, he states that, “The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.”
What some might call God slow to react, or even not really there, we know that Christ calls it patient grace and loving mercy, so that all have a chance to repent of their sins.
But as much as God is patient and loving, there is a limit to His timing. I don’t know when it will be that God will say, enough is enough. You see from the minute Jesus came in riding on a young donkey, the clock started clicking even faster.
These verses to the right were written by the Prophet Zechariah who wrote these words about 500 years before Jesus was born. Yet these words have had a profound impact on the timeline of God and The Day when He will be back.
You see the line to the right? That is also a time out line. It is a time out period for all of humanity to come to its senses. One day, I don’t know when, but it could be today, tomorrow or if God wills, another 200 years, Jesus will be coming back. He will not be riding humbly on a donkey.
He will be coming in His true nature– Lord of lords and King of kings.
Then it will be too late for anyone to ask Jesus to forgive them and be saved. When Christ comes as the Conquering King, His patience will be gone. He will come to judge all those who did not believe in Him. By then, the scoffers will stop scoffing, the skeptics will be gnashing their teeth, and the unbelievers will be weeping for mercy.
This Passion Week is a Holy Week. I ask you to get right with God. I ask you to ask His Son Jesus into your life. Ask Christ to make things right in your life. Ask Him for forgiveness before it’s to late. Commit and allow for Jesus’ death on the cross and resurrection from the grave to give you true and lasting freedom. If you want to get right and have peace with God, do it now, don’t wait…
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight. 7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and turn away from evil.…
It’s not a gun issue. It’s not a race issue. It’s not a class divided issue. It is a heart issue that only Christ can solve. God is not in our class rooms. God is not in our stadiums. God is not in our universities.
God has been taken out everywhere. We cry out for justice. Justice is not here. Because God has been kicked out of there too.
The heart of the issue is the human heart, it is sinful and wicked. God is the only cure. But you don’t want Him. You want justice without the Justice Maker. You want Unity without the Unity Maker. You want Peace without the Peace Maker.
You want control but are unwilling to give God the Control. He is the only One that can change us. He is the only One that can change this culture. Like He has done before. But you are too proud and too independent. You think you are smart but it’s foolishness without God. God is the Law Giver and only the Law Giver can make things right.
It’s not too late…
God infinitely loves you.
