The Christmas season is wrapping up beautifully today! On January 6th—known as Epiphany—Christians around the world celebrate the Three Wise Men (or Los Reyes Magos in Spanish) arriving to worship the child Jesus. They kneel before Him and offer gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh—prophetic treasures for the God-King who would one day save the world. I love that we don’t know the exact date of Jesus’ birth, and that no authentic portrait of Him exists. It protects us from our human tendency to worship images or dates instead of the Creator Himself. To keep the joy of Christmas going a little longer, I invite you to join me in celebrating the traditional 12 Days of Christmas!
