They See What They See In Us

You show that you are a letter from Christ that he sent through us. This letter is not written with ink but with the Spirit of the living God. It is not written on stone tablets but on human hearts.”

Second Corinthians Chapter 3 verses 3    Easy to Read Version

When I first become aware that God was out there was very early in my childhood. You see, my mom would always be looking up and thinking. I was around 5 years of age and asked her what she was doing.
“Just sitting here asking God for help with my hands,” she told me.
My next question is not what everyone expects of a five-year-old. You see, I knew that God existed. God was inculcated to all my siblings and me by my parents.
So this Who is God question, never crossed my mind even at that early stage.
Now before you start thinking that I am a regular Mother Theresa of some sorts, trust me when I say this, just ask my wife and girls. They will tell you the truth. That should end all speculation that I have a halo around my head.
All that aside, why I am writing this now is because I was studying for my weekly Bible Fellowship when I realized that I take so many things for granted.
One of those things is my adult daughters’ journey of  personal faith.
The other is my family’s journey of personal faith.

You see, had my mom never shown us by example of what faith was, I would not be writing about this today. Had my dad not forced us to go to church every week, my life would have ended up differently.

So today, I urge you to find your children’s faith. I encourage to plant the seed of faith in your spouse. I ask you to be a walking story of the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ.
Christlike wH2O

Because you never know what eyes are looking at you. Whether from a 5-year-old’s point of view or from someone’s eyes at work.
You are what people look to when it comes to sharing your faith. What they see is what they get. let them know there is a better and more hopeful life than the one they are now in.
Point them to Christ…
