We hear of all types of agendas. The Communist agenda, the Terror agenda, the Gay agenda, the Left Wing Agenda, the Right Wing agenda, the Anti-Law Enforcement Agenda, etc.,
1. I hear and see my friends who are worried that these agendas will one day take over our Christian faith. I am not one of those. Because I know who my God is and I know He is alive. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow(Hebrews 13:8).
2. I also am one of those that doesn’t believe in posting something I will not back up. Here is what I have done my best to fulfill as a follower of Christ our Savior.
As Christians, we only have a few things to do–
In the 82nd Psalm, the Lord tells us what to do when we see people taking advantage of others:
3 Defend the poor and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and needy.
4 Deliver the poor and needy; Free them from the hand of the wicked. Psalm 82 NKJV
What this means is that we are to DEFEND those who can’t defend themselves. We as Christians are to light the way for others Spiritually and physically. We are to be the first ones to call out those that want to hurt families and those whom society deems financially, mentally and physically weak.
We are to DO whatever it takes to help those who don’t have a voice in society. Our faith is a verb. We are to be doers of the word and not just talkers. Why, because when we are all talk, we are like those little dogs that are continually barking. It gets to the point where no one pays attention to them because they are always barking.
Our faith is alive, and our actions must be active. Our belief is in the now, and our actions can’t be of the past.
We must DO things to help society better itself. We must be the Light-bearers and not go and hide in our own little communities pretending that nothing is going to happen to us.
When Jesus called the disciples, they went and did. Then when He told them that they would suffer for His name(Luke 6:22 & John 15:18), they exploded upon the world and turned the Roman Empire upside down(Acts 17:6). But the first thing they did was to wait and pray, they got their answer and were rejuvenated by the Holy Spirit, then they went to all the corners of the known globe.
God DELIVERed on His promises that they would speak to governors and kings(Matthew 10:17-20 & Mark 13:10-13) and He would speak for them.
I ask you, has our modern church made us weak and afraid of speaking the truth? Or can we still say that the Christian community is still Defending, doing, delivering and setting people FREE from the bondage of Satan and his agendas?
We must preach the Good News of Jesus the Messiah who set the captives free from the future eternal hell coming to all people who have not been defended, delivered and set free from the separation from God who is patiently waiting for us to reach the lost.
