I know what I am thankful for this year. These are but a few things.

  1. I am alive another year. The blessing of seeing my family this year is added on to my life.

The more I think of the fact that I may have died four years ago, gives me a sense of urgency to thank God for the additional time He is giving me here on earth.

  1. My loved ones are doing well spiritually and physically. Yes. in this order. So many of us take care of the outer shell but forget to take care of the inner self. Make the end of this year count. Get your spiritual affairs in order. For me it is making sure that I am in a constant relationship with my Lord & Savior Jesus. I invite you to make the same commitment. You will not regret it.
  2. I have accomplished one of my huge goals in having my book published. It is at it’s ending stage. In a few days, it will be ready to be on the market. This has also been a huge blessing. Why? Because it is one of my life’s major goals. It is also a major victory for my spiritual journey. I thank God that I was able to write this one and the three others that are in the works.
  3. Another year which has had horrific headlines throughout the year. Still, I am thankful for the future. I know that whatever is meant for evil, God id going to turn it into good. I have the assurance of this. All you have to do is read God’s word, the Bible. In it, you will see how many times evil tried to take over. You will then see how many times good overcame evil. This is how God works, behind the scenes when we least expect it.
Silently when all seems to be lost, God will never leave us nor forsake us. He will in the end set things right.

So this Thanksgiving, remember that God is working things out invisibly. You may think how can these atrocities happen? There must be no God. But atrocities are done in the name of men and not God. Those satanic forces you see and hear on social media and the news are not of God. Nor do they represent the One True God that is the Triune God of the Bible.

I’ve come that they may have life, and have it abundantly..”-Jesus, The Gospel of John Chapter 10

Whatever you are thankful for this year, remember to thank God. He is the one that has been there with you throughout this year. Again, He will never leave you nor forsake you.

He wants the best for you. All you have to do is be willing to ask Him whatever your worries, burdens and situations are.

Go ahead, keep asking and you shall receive, keep seeking and you shall find. Keep knocking and a door will be opened to you.
