He is not here!

God sent His son, they called Him, Jesus;

He came to love, heal and forgive;
He lived and died to buy my pardon,
An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives!

Chorus
Because He lives, I can face tomorrow,
Because He lives, all fear is gone,
Because I know He holds the future,
And life is worth the living,
Just because He lives!…

Because He lives by Bill Gaither

…5 But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He is not here; He has risen, just as He said! Come, see the place where He lay. 7 Then go quickly and tell His disciples, ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see Him.’ See, I have told you.”…Matthew 28 verse 6

This was the first morning since coming to Christ that my wife and I were unable to make sunrise service. Mary hurt her lower back about a week ago, and it has been a slow process. She would not have been able to sit for very long and to stand up for too long would have been excruciating. We made it through many battles with the kids’ infancy and teen years being there but a reoccurring herniated disk problem won the battle this year. Both of us were left empty, which brings me to my belief:
— You see, my belief is that since the beginning of time, we have been made to worship God. We come out of our mother’s wombs crying and screaming. I believe this is because we have been taken away from the only genuine heavenly love we will know. When we are taken away from God’s presence in the womb, we are left empty, just like the tomb.

— From the minute we breath for the first time to our last dying breath, we are searching for something. We search for him in school, and sports but He is not there. We search for Him in our relationships with others but He is not there either. We search for Him at large stadiums, wanting to scream to the ends of the earth and yet, He is not there.

–The only way we are fulfilled is by knowing Jesus the Messiah or Christ of the world. When Mary Magdalene went to the tomb, she was searching for the One True Person who had fulfilled her desires. No, not the earthly ones but the spiritual one. The only desire that counts.

— Today, if you have been searching and yet not finding , I would encourage you to go to the empty tomb. The tomb is where you will find the reason why billions wake up and run to praise Him for what He, Jesus, did on the cross and what He, did to come back to life so that death’s sting would not bite those that put their belief in Jesus.

— The tomb is empty, if your heart is empty, that is your spirit screaming to run and search for Jesus. You don’t need to look any further. He is alive and is waiting for you to ask Him to help you commit to a spiritual life with Him. Your spirit will thank you for it. It will finally find rest
