A great Tuesday to everyone out there. Skipping the Politics Tuesday for something that is more important:
Want to give you a bit of encouragement. This is short and sweet, but probably one of the most powerful testimonies of what a true example of a Christian, who is walking through literally a valley of the shadow of death and praising God. Knowing that our LORD has his life covered and in control. Very rare that I pass along somebody else’s words, but I had to pass this along.
Every once in a while, I get taken aback with powerful Holy Spirit filled examples of true faith in God, while they are going through a tough situation with an unknown future.Oscar Roca
All I have to say my brother from the same Heavenly Father, you keep running that race that is set before you. And know this – you got people praying for you….Here’s Mario’s encouragement to all of us…
Webster’s describes a Crisis as “a time of intense difficulty, trouble, or danger.”
As many , if not all of you know, on August 28th I suffered a hemorrhagic stroke. I spent 7 days in ICU and a few more painful, uncomfortable weeks trying to heal & recover. I wish I could say I handled it like a champ and stayed positive the entire time but the truth is I did not. I had my “why me” and my “where are You Lord” moments. I had times where I felt all alone when the reality is I was never alone! God was with me throughout the entire time. You see my brethren (my change), He reminded me at those moments that He would never leave me or forsake me.
We all go through our own Crisis, those times of intense difficulty, trouble, and danger. We all have those “why me and “where are you Lord” moments in our lives. Those times when our circumstances take us to an unknown place and has us worrying and questioning everything we are and everything we know. It is as those times that we must remember who God is, who God has been, and who God will always be. He is the one who is with you and he is the one who will never forsake you.
So remember this my brethren, whenever you go through a Crisis, just remember who CHRIST IS! Thank you all for your love, your support & your prayers! May your day & your week be a blessed one.—Mario Ortiz
