Been doing my study for this Sunday and one of the things that I love about the Exodus Tabernacle of Jesus, yes, Jesus, not Moses….is the fact that right at the center of the inside of the Tabernacle, is a Menorah.
I have added the candles in my representation for the effects. But the Menorah would light up the Tabernacle during the day. I am pretty sure at night, the incredible awesomeness of YHWH’s glory was all that was needed, and then some.
But the Menorah represents so much more. It is a picture of the promise of God to His people Israel.
That promise was the Covenant that God made with Abraham. You can read this in Genesis 12. God was going to do a great work in the smallest of nations. He is still doing this today. The world wonders how a small country of less than 10 million can have so many world renowned musicians, scientists and Nobel Peace Prize recipients. Let alone, the industrial and agricultural might this small nation has.
This wonderful Light to the world is because God decided to send His Son Jesus to be a Jewish Rabbi, who would one day be born, grow up, and be a Teacher…this is a huge understatement….and then obediently sacrifice Himself to connect the world, yes, the entire world should all mankind decide to choose Jesus, back to the original relationship God had with His children in the Garden.
Right in the middle of the Tabernacle is the Light of the Menorah. But that only tells the smallest of stories. The Menorah represents so much more. I will give you the two main ones—the Menorah is a representation of Yeshuah, or Jesus as we know Him in the English and Spanish worlds.
But the Menorah is also a prophetic representation of what The Second Person of the Triune Godhead would do for us.
Jesus came to fulfill 4 of the 7 Feasts of YHWH. He will come back and finish the 3 remaining Candelabra stems or light wicks. This will be coming in the near future. This, I am looking forward to. Hopefully it happens within my lifetime.
You see, Jesus will come back for us. The Light of the World will illuminate Himself so unbelievably bright, that all mankind will see His glory. There will not be one person who will miss this Prophetic event.
So when I teach about the Menorah and the rest of the valuable things inside the Tabernacle that God told Moses to build, I get excited.
Because each one of those amazing things represent an aspect of Yeshua, the Light of the World, King of kings and LORD of lords. And one day soon, the world will understand why Jesus will come and TABERNACLE with us…reconnecting us to the perfect setting in a more perfect Garden than the original one…
