Despised & Rejected

Despised and rejected,
My Savior my Lord
Abused and neglected
Suffered such sorrow
Afflicted, mistreated for me
My sins my Savior did take

Was struck down, tormented
My Savior my Lord
Afflicted, dejected,
Was wounded and punished
His cheek He would turn
My sins my Savior did take

Despised and rejected,
My Savior my Lord
Abused and neglected
Suffered such sorrow
Afflicted, mistreated for me
My sins my Savior did take

My Powerful Savior
Submissive and Humble
His cheek He would turn
Disfigured and bloody
My Powerful Savior endured
My sins my Savior did take

Despised and rejected,
My Savior my Lord
Abused and neglected
Suffered such sorrow
Afflicted, mistreated for me
My sins my Savior did take

Cutoff and shutoff,
My Savior my Lord
Endured the torture
His cheek He would turn
He silently suffered
My sins my Savior did take

Despised and rejected,
My Savior my Lord
Abused and neglected
Suffered such sorrow
Afflicted, mistreated for me
My sins my Savior did take

Surrendered His Spirit
My Savior My Lord
Buried so deeply
Death couldn’t hold Him
Triumphantly Risen
Death’s sting no longer
My sins my Savior did take

Don’t wait, get to know who Jesus truly is. These were not just claims by His followers who were making things up to make Jesus look good. But indisputable truths that Jesus’ enemies would have been able to disprove during and right after His resurrection. Over 150 Prophecies about Him which were fulfilled by Him. What do you have to lose?
