Before Trying to Teach Our Kids This…|California Educational Agenda

1. Today, I want to ask those who are villianizing parents who are completely against the educational system’s indoctrination of our children, to really think the following points thoroughly.

We need to prioritize the system better than what we are doing for our California Public & Private school children.

2. I am one of those parents who is ccompletely & categorically in favor of the idea of educators refraining from teaching sex education to our children, no matter the age.

This is the job of parents.
And if parents are not too thrilled about sharing the ‘birds & the bees‘ with their children, maybe this is when the educational system should jump in and help those parents.
Specifically, in teaching classes for parents on how to explain sexual matters to their kids.
Not a teacher teaching students the ‘do’s & don’t’s’ of sexual education.
I am completely & categorically in favor of California The Board of Education teaching our children Reading, Writing & Arithmetic.

Also teaching Real Life Budgeting, Real Life Finances, Real Life Public Speaking.

Training our public school children in Conflict Communication, in a well thought out manner; teaching our children that they can come to an agreement without using:

—Fists

—Legs

—Teeth

—Foul mouths

—Firearms

—& Friends

— to do their dirty work.

3. I am also completely & categorically in favor of Educators teaching our public school children to use:

Technology
Training in Sports
Real Life Goal Setting where students of all ages learn what it is to win in the little battles of life by achieving success.
Giving awards for achievements Goal Setting with real life awards like gift cards in which the parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, Godparents etc., will be happy to furnish.
For those that can’t afford this, I mean those parents in absolute dire need of help,
not the ones who don’t want to work; the community can step in and help with those parents or grandparents to get their award cards.

It’s time to make our children a priority.

Instead of trying to shove the adulterated curriculum to our children, why doesn’t the California Dept. of Education stop this “Health Education Curriculum”

And instead, concentrate on bringing California’s educational grades up from ninth to last place in the Union.

Yes, I’ll say this again, Stop teaching things that children should not be learning & start really focusing on making the California Education system the best in the Union

& why not the world?

The Passover LAMB of God |Passion Week- Last Passover

We take time today to commemorate Jesus’ Last earthly Passover before He became the Pesach Lamb of God
He is the reason why the Israelites celebrated and practiced this yearly Feast
On Passover:
The Israelites would take the 1-year-old male lamb which they had chosen 4 day earlier
Fed this little lamb for 4 days
Kept this little lamb with them
And on the 14th day
They would sacrifice its life
Use hyssop to mark the door posts as sign
For the LORD to pass over and cover their sins
Thus saving them from
The “Angel of Death”

On that Passover day, Nisan 14… The blood of the Lamb of God was placed on the wooden beams
The cross would be outside of the city
All the 1-3 million Jews coming into Jerusalem for the Passover would have witnessed Jesus’ Via Dolorosa through the streets of Jerusalem.
Most would have heard of this Miracle Worker
Most would wonder why He did not save Himself
He would not save Himself for our sake
He would die for our transgression and sins
By His stripes we are saved and healed
By His death & resurrection we are saved from spiritual death

Thank You Jesus for being the Lamb of God who took my sins away. You were telling your disciples and us to celebrate today and as many times as we can, Your willing sacrifice. By taken the bread and drinking the wine, we are commemorating the Passover Feast, and remembering what You did for us.

All Life is Precious |Abortion Kills

—This has been one of the hardest topics plaguing this nation for decades now.

I have been staring at the screen for a while now.
For those that know me, it is very rare when I don’t have anything to say.
This is how serious this topic is. I believe we are at a crossroads.

—Before you read the rest of this, if you are offended easily or think that by having a different opinion than yours, I am somehow evil, please keep reading anyway.

I am not trying to cause division for the sake of ratings or money. I get neither!
But this has to be said and has to be screamed loud enough so that one day we don;t have this monstrous legality.
The forces of evil are working extra hard and in overtime in order to continue destroying precious life. I am talking about Abortion,.
Now, the killing of mature 9-month-old babies in New York is legal!
This is a blasphemy to the Lord and to what is held morally good, just and right.

“Come on now Oscar! Isn’t what you just said a little overdramatic?” The short answer is no. The long answer is still no.
In a period where Americans are not producing enough babies for our own sake and future, we get a dark and dangerous signing in New York by a man who thinks he knows best.
This person just shows how low we as a nation have gone. For a man old enough to know right from wrong, he sure is making it hard for me to say something good about him. (This is where I had to stare at the sccreen…leave and come back a few times throughout the four days I have been on this post! I don’t want to call that governor what I really thought of his souls, mind and heart.)
But … and I mean this with all my heart....
He is just a symptom of our moral-less society. He is the epitome of what a leader should not do, and that is the condoning of innocent lives. This is the same person that is anti-war, anti-punishment and anti-everything conservative.
Yet, in his dwindled mind, he thinks that giving murderers a second chance….yes, evil people who have viciously decided to murder another human being, those evil people, a chance to live. There is no Death Penalty in New York. Or at least there hasn’t been in over half a century almost.
Worse than this, when this, this, governor signed the law, people actually cheered.
How, dark, creepy, evil and way out of God’s will are these people?!

—Again, if you get offended easily or are very sensitive to things that you disagree with. I would stop here and ask you to just reconsider what I am saying.

As Americans, we will go to great lengths to post stuff on social media defending the polar bear or a rhino that was killed by a wannabee hunter. We climb and chain ourselves up on trees to protest the little creatures who are becoming extinct. I am one of those that believes that we are caretakers of this wonderful planet. I believe that we will be held responsible by the Creator of the universe if we have violated or have been irresponsible in taking care of what God has given us to nurture.

—Yet I see the total and incredibly hypocritical way that the same people who will drive, fly or sail hundred, if not thousands of miles to save a dolphin or whale or spotted owl, have the sensitivity of a trained underworld assassin when it comes to human babies!

PLEASE STOP HERE IF YOU ARE NOT YET OFFENDED— BUT ARE GETTING HUFFY. THIS I HAVE TOS SAY…

When I see people blatantly and angrily being pro-murder of kids, their very own kids, this is what runs through my mind…

…“Yay, I am now free to unbuckle my midsection and go about my business. Then I will just kill the thing that is living and growing inside of me for my convenience.” ….
…Because your parents did that to you, right!….HAad your parents had the same hypocritical mentality that you now espouse, you would not be here!
…..If you go through great lengths of protecting whatever creature you do and shove your beliefs on others.
Or if you have signed any piece of paper promoting the protection of any creature, and you get angry at those who want to protect human babies along with the rest of the creatures living here on earth.
And you are willingly and blatantly telling people to mind their own business when it comes to human babies.
Because after all, it’s your body and you can do whatever you want with it.
And your man agrees 100% with you.
You my friend are being hypocritical.
BECAUSE….
The baby has its own egg-like embryonic protection. Just like those baby eagles, spotted owls, and other endangered species do.
That baby inside of you is an independent and viably living creature who needs your help the most!

I pray and hope that if you disagree with my assessment, that yu will go and meditate on what I have said. Because the God of this universe, is a Protective Creator, He will hold us all accountable for his little creatures. All of His creation not just the ones you want to pick and choose to help save.

If you have had an abortion, reach out to God. He is an unbelievably gracious and merciful Lord.

2 Men 4 Men |As Iron Sharpens Iron Rules

I am starting a new series for men only. But women are not excluded! They are needed. Why? So they can keep their husbands accountable.

In the years I have been in ministry, I have noticed a trend. Men doing their hardest work in ministry but forgetting what God truly wants from them; serving their spouses, kids and working even harder in their jobs.

Over the years, I have had wives complain about their husbands to me. One time I had a wife and the kids watching the dad cleaning the church restrooms.

The wife looked right at me and said,”I wish he would do that at home. I can’t get him to lift a finger inside the house. He takes care of us, but he does not do any of the stuff he does for the church.”

I wish I could say that I was stunned or at least surprised. But, more and more, I see people, specifically men, who will go out of their way to be respected at church but not care what their wives and children think of them. The story below is about a man who was not yet married to this woman, yet he served her from the start of their relationship. You will have to read all the story of Ruth but it is a wonderful story of a man who works hard, and yet has time to serve his future wife. We see a story of a man who redeemed this woman to him. He loved her enough to take care of her even before the two-way relationship and benefits were in full view.

“”…Then Boaz said, “Do not let it be known that a woman came to the threshing floor.” 15 And he told her, “Bring the shawl you are wearing and hold it out.” When she did so, he shoveled six measures of barley into her shawl. Then he went into the city. 16 When Ruth returned to her mother-in-law, Naomi asked her, “How did it go, my daughter?” Then Ruth told her all that Boaz had done for her.…”” Ruth chapter 3 verses 14b-16 Berean Study Bible

Men, when was the last time you washed dishes just because? Or did the laundry so your wives would not have to? These chores are not just for women.

These chores are an extension of loving your wives when you see that they are tired and need a little help. More importantly, these little things that you do in serving your wives, redeems them to have a deeper love and respect for you.

The redeeming rewards will be your children seeing how the husband loves his wife. Your kids in turn will love and respect their mom and have a profound love for the way they see you treating and redeeming their mom!

Serve at home before you go and try to at church. That should be your motto. Serve here before there!

You will find the blessings that come from serving your family and you will be fulfilling the qualifications of a true leader or Elder. These qualifications are in short supply and are highly needed in the modern church.

There are too many men who want to be respected at church but are failing miserably where it’s most needed, in their homes…

I was running behind on time all day yesterday. Now I understand why…

I went to get some lunch at a local restaurant. While waiting for my food, I noticed an argument starting. The conversation started between a middle aged woman and an young lady that couldn’t be more than 20 years old, who had just walked in a few seconds before her. They started talking; first in low tones and as the conversation went on, the older woman started raising her voice. Everyone in the restaurant turned towards them, including myself.

The young lady seemed quiet and composed as she was getting a verbal tongue lashing.

She kept stating that the small alley way into the restaurant’s parking lot was a two way direction. The older lady started calling her names and saying that she was wrong. All of a sudden, because the older lady didn’t get her way, she grabbed the young lady’s phone and threw it in the trash!
That’s when I stepped in and yelled out at the lady to leave the young one alone.
She started walking out with her kids who were waiting for her sitting outside.
A few minutes before, I noticed the same young teen boys were both acting aggressively towards one another and wondered why the parents allow for those actions to escalate into hatred towards each other…Then I saw the mom and got my answer.
I told the hostile mom to apologize to the young lady, and she made every excuse why she wouldn’t. I let her know that she was the mature one and the kid was just a teenager and immature. That she was the older and wiser one… I told her that she was setting a bad example for her sons and then I noticed her hat….. This is what really got me!
On her red and pink cap, she had a Christian saying. In the back of her cap was a cross!
I explained that she was shaming Jesus’ name to the non-Christians and that she should be ashamed of herself and in front of her kids and everyone else.
That kind of bullying, I will not tolerate; even worse, coming from a Christian person.
I thought of Romans 2:

“As it is written: “God’s name is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you.”

She stumbled over her words after what I told her, and she grabbed her kids and walked away.
At that point, I decided to just eat there so I could speak to the young lady who was searching through the trash, looking for her phone. I started praying… praying first for myself, and then for the lady who should have known better. For the young girl not to stumble in the future if she is not a Christian, when somebody shares the gospel with her. Spoke to the employees of the restaurant and the young lady came over to thank me. I apologized on behalf of my faith for that lady. Everything seemed to calm down and get back to normal.

Something amazing happened after I prayed. A few minutes later, the Lord sent others to encourage me…

An old man who was strolling in with a walker and all his belongings came in to order. He was homeless, and his hygiene was non-existent. He ordered, got coffee and started walking outside to sit in one of the tables. As he passed the door’s threshold, he began to struggle.
I thought of getting up to help but would have been in the way since one of the employees came in behind him trying to assist him.
At this point, I see a very humble looking couple that was eating outside come to his rescue. The guy looked like an ex-gangbanger, and the woman’s appearance was very homely.
They both had tattoos and looked rough. Not a single Christian logo. They quickly helped the poor man with his walker and belongs. Both smiling and chatting with the poor old man. After helping him to his seat, they went back to their table and continued their conversation. I smiled because I knew their heart was right. They both looked at peace and in harmony. I would not be surprised if they knew the Lord, I would be surprised that the lady was really walking with the Lord. I am not judging, but the fruit of her spirit was lacking…

Be sure to be a refreshing aroma to all you come across.
Sometimes Christians wearing logos make themselves to be a stench instead of a sweet smelling aroma to others.
Please don’t be that Christian. Imitate Christ and let the world smell your sweet sacrifice…

Critique of Modern Day Church |See The Symptoms

I just heard the news about a young pastor who was the lead servant at the church he and his wife were serving in. He left a wife and kids who will dearly and crucially miss him. Most likely, you will hear the news about how he went home to be with the Lord. But to me, it doesn’t matter how he went homeward. What matters is that this was a tragic way for him to graduate from this life into the next. Here is where I am very critical of the church today, and I include myself in this critique:
I find it very odd that a person so well-known in his church and community would not have given signals out to the people who served alongside him day in and out. Again, I am not condemning anyone, but I am saying that if we truly are a community of believers who serve one another, this should not be happening as commonly as it has been. Just search the web for pastors committing suicide, and you understand why I am writing this.

I blame no one and everyone. I am saddened to see another warrior for Christ has been taken out by the enemy, and I want this to stop.

What I see are a few things that the modern-day church could be doing better:

1. The problem with the way churches are set up today is very impersonal, especially to its elders.
They serve everyone, but no one attends to their spiritual and mental needs. The apostle Paul took to writing about Jesus’ teachings. One crucial tenet was that each one of us would learn to serve and not be served. The person who wants to be a Christian must humble him or herself and help others.

Serve on another.png Modern churches have forgotten the value of community. Some are so large that newcomers can visit and not have anyone say hello except those that are serving in the ‘greeter’ ministry. I once attended a church that is well-known because of its founder. My family and I went in, no one in the parking or church entrance greeted us. No one during service said hello, no one said anything to us as we left the church.
I wonder how many of those people think of themselves as fulfilling the Great Commission when they see strangers walking into their church but not welcoming them into their fellowship?
2. This leads me to the next point. We have become a church of hugeness! Huge buildings, huge events, huge crusades. The personal one-on-one discipleship has been lost along the way. This is the greatest tragedy. Had this young pastor who lost his dad a few years prior had anyone like a Paul in his life, and I am not saying he did not, but it seems that all of us need to have a few Pauls, a few Timothy’s and a few Barnabas’ in our lives. If you don’t understand this example, I ask you to go to your nearest pastor or someone whom you trust and ask them what this means, it will be part of discipleship.
3. The church, meaning us the people calling ourselves Christians and not the building, has an obligation to ensure that those who serve full-time or are bi-vocational and serving, are being looked after physically, mentally and most importantly, spiritually. We need to pray for the leadership continually.
We can not be dependent on the staff or elders to heal themselves, take care of their families and then leech on to them 24-7 and expect them to stay healthy for long.
4. If you have been going to your church for at least a year, and are able to serve, start in the cleaning ministry. First, make sure you start at home. Then go and clean the bathrooms and classrooms. That is where the most help is needed.

Then when you are joyful in doing those things, ask to help in a class. But make sure you and your family are sitting together for the basics- Praying, Reading the Bible and enjoying serving one another.

P.S. Please make sure that you get to know your elders. Especially those that are always serving you. They are the ones that get hit the most and they just like you come with baggage..

Just Preach Christ and Christ Crucified! |AB2943 who cares!

AB 2943, as amended, Low. Unlawful business practices: sexual orientation change efforts.

Existing law, the Consumer Legal Remedies Act, makes unlawful certain unfair methods of competition and unfair or deceptive acts or practices undertaken by any person in a transaction intended to result, or which results, in the sale or lease of goods or services to any consumer. Existing law authorizes any consumer who suffers damages as a result of these unlawful practices to bring an action against that person to recover damages, among other things.

Existing law prohibits mental health providers, as defined, from performing sexual orientation change efforts, as specified, with a patient under 18 years of age. Existing law requires a violation of this provision to be considered unprofessional conduct and subjects the provider to discipline by the provider’s licensing entity.

This bill would include, as an unlawful practice prohibited under the Consumer Legal Remedies Act, advertising, offering to engage in, or engaging in for sale, or selling services constituting sexual orientation change efforts with efforts, as defined, to an individual. The bill would also declare the intent of the Legislature in this regard.

The People of the State of California Do Enact As Follows:

Contemporary Science….is not a disease, disorder, or illness.

(b) The American Psychological Association convened the Task Force on Appropriate Therapeutic Responses…he task force concluded that sexual orientation change efforts can pose critical health risks to lesbian, gay, and bisexual people,

(c) The American Psychological Association issued a resolution on Appropriate Affirmative Responses to Sexual Orientation Distress and Change Efforts in 2009, stating:…advises parents, guardians, young people, and their families to avoid sexual orientation change efforts that portray homosexuality as a mental illness

(d) The American Psychiatric Association published a position statement in March of 2000, stating:…..“Psychotherapeutic modalities to convert or ‘repair’ homosexuality are based on developmental theories whose scientific validity is questionable…”…..”Therefore, the American Psychiatric Association opposes any psychiatric treatment such as reparative or conversion therapy which is based upon the assumption that homosexuality per se is a mental disorder….” Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah….

The bill goes on and on about Aversion Therapy, and it’s controversies. As a Christian, I have never once told anyone who is LBGT to convert or go to any type of therapy.

It seems that California leadership is more interested in banning anything they deem controversial than offering up any solutions that will make life better for people.

Sounds to me like the leadership in Israel when Jesus was here on earth.

From 10 Commandments coming from God, men started adding and adding little amendments until there were over 600 rules and regulations during the time Jesus was on earth.

Love God with all your heart soul and mind. This is the First Command.

Love your neighbor as yourself. This is the Second Command.

When the so-called experts asked Jesus to pick the most important commandments, These were the only 2 Commands Jesus gave them. Why, because if you were able to follow these 2 all the rest would fall into place.

During the days of the early church, when the Holy Spirit was Mighty and filled all the new Believers, there were no expert panels of this and boards of self-filled, “important” people to dispute each other. All there was, were working class people and a small ruling elite. Does this sound familiar?

Yet these 12 “simpletons” filled with the power of God’s Spirit, turned the Roman Empire upside down (See Acts 17), to the point of death. Some would be stoned to death for their faith. Some would, later on, be dragged and beaten, some would die. Yet the true Christian Spirit-filled men and women would continue to preach the Gospel. It is and will always be the Good News of Jesus the Savior of the world.

We don’t have to preach hate or be anti this or that. Yes, we must draw a line in the sand on the side of God. Yes, if need be, we have to be willing to be civilly disobedient. Yes to the point of ridicule. But why go to that extreme?

Why not, stop preaching about just two things and start giving the whole counsel of God. The whole counsel of God is not only to the homosexuals or to the abortionists, but it is also to all mankind.

Let me repeat this, the entire counsel of God is to all of humanity. The wife abuser, the unfaithful wife, the alcoholic, the drug addict, the fornicator, which includes everyone who is not married and having sexual relations, those with anger issues, those with lustful thoughts, I can go on and on.

“But Oscar, if I don’t pick a sin to show the unsaved, how do I know what to talk to them about?”

We don’t need to know every person’s sin, nor do we have to be eloquent speakers or preachers, we just have to be like Paul and preach Christ, and Christ crucified (See 1 Corinthians 2)

So I encourage all my Christian brethren, don’t get hung up in the details of what the ever-searching-never-seeking-leaders in Sacramento are doing and will be doing. Just point all those you come in contact with the Way, the Truth and the Life. He will change people heart’s no matter what or who they were before meeting Him.

We don’t need anyone doing Aversion Therapy or any type of therapy when they grab hold of Jesus’ heart and nature. Then and only then can a person, I don’t care what persuasion they are coming from, will truly change their way of life. Because nothing can scrub off until the cleansing power of God’s Spirit comes in and deep cleans the person’s spirit, mind, and body.

It is time to preach & share the gospel. No time for debates. The time is over.If this bill passes fully, we will see the real Christians. Not those that just talk the right talk.

Are we willing to go to jail like Peter, Paul and the rest of the early Christian Church?

Are we ready to say, Lord, whatever your will is? Are we prepared to be chained up and we keep preaching about Jesus that the jailers convert?
