Christian Persecution – PleaseBeStillMoments

Faith—There is always a danger of getting complacent in our faith. Where people around you don’t know the incredible love of Christ and His atoning (sin cleansing) sacrifice on the cross, we will talk to them about sports, politics, events happening in the community and family, yet not let them know why we are so blessed in knowing Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior.

Hope— other people are needing the hope we have in our future. Not the kind of hope for monetary wealth or health and well being. The kind that says, “I am only passing through this beautiful life, but my hope lies in an even better place at the end of my journey — a place flowing with the real meaning of life. You see, the secret we have here is fantastic. Even with some of the bad stuff which comes our way. Even with immoral people who take advantage of what this world gives. These evil people take and take but don’t give back to the goodness of this life.
Other people, journey through this life and give away more than they get—the incredible hope that I have, the promise of one day entering into a permanent and enriching experience which I get freely.
Nor have I had to earn anything to get to this incredible place. All I have had to do is put my trust in Jesus the Christ (The Messiah or Savior of this world). I did not have to go door to door explaining anything or ride my bike to some foreign land to tell people about the Gospel. Even though sharing the Gospel is the right thing to do, we don’t have to go a thousand miles to share it.

Love— It’s been said that love conquers all. I am here to tell you that love does conquer all. Just look at the Roman Empire. The empire was never conquered by hoarders of marauders warring against it from the fringes of the empire. No, what conquered the Roman empire was love that spread within its walls. Christians were slaughtered and denied access to food and water. They were expelled from selling their things at the local market places.
As long as they rejected the local and Roman deities, Christians were bullied and tortured. Yet, these same Christians would give whatever they had to others. They would pick up infants whose lives have had been found lying in the streets because their families did not want them. Christians would live lives that emanated the love of Christ.
Look at the Vikings. They killed and plundered. They went into all of Northern Europe and took what they wanted; gold, silver, women and anything valuable. When they settled into the lands, they had conquered, something happened. These ferocious invaders started seeing what Christian love for their neighbor, churches, and their community was.
This love wasn’t perfect, but it was far better than the way of the Viking way of life. Decades later, the conquerors were conquered by this love of Christ.

Today, we are seeing all the wrong things that are happening in this world. Terrorists killing Christians with the sword, making it a point for others to fear them and letting the world know that all countries will need to ‘convert’ to their religion.
Political agendas demeaning Christian life and going against their livelihood with frivolous lawsuits and in other countries, not having Christians be able to buy food, water and the necessities of everyday life.
Just like the Roman Empire, the world is also hating Christians for standing up for babies. Christians will continue to do the things we do because Jesus told us that people would know we were his disciples by our love. It is not a fake love. Nor is it a bought love. It is a God Spirit kind of love. Only by knowing Christ can you have this supernatural love,

The offended Society

We need to get back to praying for our schools, our colleges, our government representatives, our families and this country.
Too many are blaming Christians for everything that is wrong with society. Yet the less people personally know God, the more chaos there is.
To the point where they will try to shut up those who will think differently than the whole mass of people.
Now more than ever, we need independent people who will speak truths.
Not whispering sweet nothings to appease society.
Prophets are needed again LORD!
This is what I pray…

I walked outside and thanked God aloud

“Lord thank you for the beautiful day you’ve given me. The sun is out the sky is blue, and the birds are singing.”

A passerby who walked on by stopped and said, ” Sir I’m offended. Offended by your prayer. Please keep that to yourself!”

As I drove off, I pondered,

“How peculiar is the state of our society…”

It was Sunday when I went to worship. I was early and sat in prayer. “Lord may those that don’t know you come to find your saving grace,” I said.

My eyes were closed when I heard:

“Sir, I’m offended. Offended by your prayer. Please keep that to yourself! We need to be inclusive to all, even if they don’t believe.”

Service was done I said my goodbyes, but as I drove off I pondered,

“How peculiar is the state of our society…”

I went to eat, my family all merry. We sat, and we talked about God and country. About boys being boys and girls being girls.

“Excuse me!” someone said,” How dare you put your children in a box! How dare you and your wife make them feel as if they have no say!” Stop telling your kids who they are to be when they play! Let them choose to identify themselves it’s their say! Why don’t you keep your antiquated thoughts to yourselves!”

As I sat with my family, I finally yelled out, “Whatever I think, whatever I choose, whatever I make, whatever I lose. Whatever is best for my family and me, it is up to me and the will of the Good Lord because I am free! Free to choose and free to praise, free to say and free to pray! All on my own. I don’t need a fascist society to be so offended at whatever’s intended! Free to be me, it’s my God-given right. No one can take, that would be a huge mistake! I don’t answer to you or society! I answer to God for the sake of my country.”

The hush in the restaurant was deafening! All eyes on me were reddening. I had passed the offensive marker no one dared dream of. How dare I say such nonsense! How dare I speak out. Didn’t I know that I should think like the whole?

Couldn’t I see, that the words I had spoken pierced and offended their ears?

“Arrest him, arrest him! Call the police! How dare he speak to us all, the way he just did! We won’t tolerate that He won’t get away free! We’ll shut him up, just wait and see!”

I kept talking, they started screaming. Like demons possessed. Their faces contorted, their screams in excess!

“If you don’t agree sir, we’ll stop you like this! So get off our safe spaces!” With offended screams, for this is what the collective deems, “No one dare change, no one dare go out on a limb!”

“Father forgive them, they know not what they do.”

“Arrest him, arrest him or his offense is due! No one speak to us like he did! Arrest him or he’ll be beat!

“Father forgive them, they know not what they say!” I cry out, “ I have every right against tyranny to fight!”

“Arrest this fascist! Arrest him right now! Or we will deal with his kind, that we surely vow!””

We left in haste, their screams left a bad taste.

When I got home, I sat there and pondered.

“Have we come to this Lord? Have we come to this? I’ve heard this before, in the book 1984.

Destroying Faith |New Zealand Massacre

I read the news this morning about a horrific massacre in New Zealand where gunman went into a mosque and killed 49 people. This act shows how depraved human beings can be to one another. All the Social Media outlets and news organizations are airing or posting about this.

I believe that all lives matter, no matter the ethnicity or faith of a person. I am praying for all those who have lost loved ones through this atrocious act of violence.

Having said this, I also believe that there is an unfair balance of reporting. This tragedy and all like it, should never be swept under the carpet.

Yet, had it been a Christian church, would we have the same world-wide coverage?

— Everyday, muslim extremists in the Mid-East and Africa, burn down churches and kill Christians just because they will not submit to their religion.

— I have not heard from most of the big news organizations or even local news or social media outlets making any effort to report these horrendous acts against Christians. Only a few big News outlets have ventured into reporting this atrocities.

— Radicals in India are doing the same thing to Christians in their country.

— Atheist governments like China and N. Korea are destroying churches and are vowing to rid their countries of Christian and Western influences once and for all.

— The big news organizations and social media outlets are for the most part silent in their reporting.

One mosque is hit with awful violence, and the reports are all over the place.

Why is the ongoing extermination of one faith less important than another faith?

Why do the media outlets who should be reporting on all tragedies, keep quiet about what is happening to Christians in the Mid-east, Africa, India and China?
Thousands of Christians have been killed all over the world?
Nigerian Christians have been killed regularly by Muslim extremist and yet, the news and social media outlets are mute!

I feel for all loss of life. I detest violence and hate hearing tragic news like the New Zealand mosque massacre.

But what I can’t stand even more than this is the silent apathetic mental disorder our media shows when it comes to reporting truth.

— Truth is, more Christians have died all over the world at the hands of extremists, than another group of people. Yet the media outlets are silent.

— An extremists goes into one mosque, commits a heinous act against a group who is worshipping their god, and every news outlet reports on the tragedy.

I applaud the media outlets for reporting this.
I only wish they did their job correctly and report the truth of what’s happening to Christians, with the same commitment and fervor of reporting which they showed for the LBGT bar and Mosque shootings.
All shootings are tragic and evil. This is why it’s important for the world to know the truth on what’s happening to Christians….but because they are Christians, the media outlets are silent…Just remember what happened in the 1940s…when all the world stood silent and left the Jewish people to die in agonizing and horrific ways…
Once the world is rid of Christians, who will they go after next? Apathy leads to death….shame on you major news and media outlets….

The Name That Shall not Be Named |JESUS IS LORD!

“saying, “By a charge we commanded you not to teach in this name, and behold, you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and you intend to bring upon us the blood of this man.”But Peter and the apostles answering said, “It is necessary to obey God rather than men.” — Peter in Acts chapter 5:28-29

I was talking to One of the guys in our family who is in full-time ministry along with his wife. He was telling me that the city Council of that city that the church is in, sent a letter telling all Christian churches that they were not to use the name of Jesus anymore in city council prayer meetings..

That they would have to generalize the name of God in their prayer. So he said that the senior pastor decided not to go.
I disagree 100% with that. As Christians we do not cower because we have the power. As Christians we do not run from fire we run into the fire because like the three young men and the story of Daniel Jesus will hold us and keep us and protect us. We won’t do as the world says — for all to bow down to satanic images and culture; we do not, we cannot.
We stand with the name the name that is no longer popular. The name that People want to get rid of. The name that infuriates those that don’t know him personally.
What I would’ve done as I would’ve gone in there and said in the name of the Lord of lords, king of kings, the name above all names. In the name that I cannot mention.
And his mighty name that I cannot say but one day all will bow down to that Name and that is why I pray in His name.

—It would behoof all of you not to try to hide His Name that is systematically being deleted. It will be in vain! The Roman Empire tried, they failed. All kingdoms have tried but failed. Don’t make the same mistake as they did. Instead embrace and welcome His name into your lives and into society. Jesus has changed societies for the better.

I for one will never stop exclaiming Jesus Name. I don’t care what authorities do or say. They are but a small vapor in existence. Jesus is the Creator of this universe and exists outside of time and space. He is forever.

This subject has been weighing heavy on my heart for a few years now. As I see the Christian faith being ripped into chaos, I can’t help but wonder if this is prophecy being fulfilled or do we as Christians have to wait for the Lord a bit longer.
The persecution of Judeo-Christian values is increasing. We hear from our brethren in Syria and Iraq who have been at the forefront of Christian persecution for the sake of their faith. The atrocities being done in the name of a peaceful religion who doesn’t accept other religious points of views would be quite ridiculous if it weren’t happening right before our modern eyes.
Since I have spoken before about our Iraqi and Syrian brothers and sisters in Christ, this is where the Lord led me to begin asking all who read this to start praying with me for the increasing persecution of the Christian church in different parts of the world. I also want to encourage our brethren in Syria and Iraq to stand firm in the faith...

—To the persecuted brethren in Iraq and Syria,

May God’s grace shown through our Lord and Savior Jesus be upon you. There is no other grace and peace in any other name. They may tell you to renounce Jesus the Savior of the world, but you will not shame Him in this way. Because you know that only Jesus can give you this graceful peace and comfort to withstand the enemies fiery darts.

—The Lord Jesus loves you, and we here in America love you too.

Some of us have been praying for all of you. I can’t fathom what you have gone through and don’t wish this upon anyone else. What I do know, is that all of you have been an inspiration and an example of what true faith is. Your faith has stood above reproach. You have made God’s name known to the most vicious of people.

Just like Paul and the saints of old, you have preached Jesus and of His only way. Because He is the Way, the Truth and the Life in this world.
May the Lord bless all of you. May the Lord keep you in His comfort. May the Lord shine His face of glory upon you. May God strengthen you to withstand the deceptions of the enemy whom you in Iraq and Syria have threatened in such a way, that the enemy has sent his demonic drones to try to shut your mouths, no matter the costs.
I pray that you stand firm in the faith. That you look to your Author and Finisher, the Perfecter of our faith. Stand strong in Christ! Do not look to the right or to your left. But focus your gaze on Jesus who will take you out of the fiery trials. Some of you have paid an awful price. You have lost loved ones. But they are not lost! They have been found. Found in the arms of our Savior. He has taken away their pains and wiped away all their tears. They are now resting. They are now waiting. Waiting for you, their loved ones to join them one day.

—Your loved ones are the saints who have been given the honor of standing before our Lord in His throne room. They have been given the white robes and are singing to the Lamb of God, who has given all martyrs restful peace.

Brothers and sisters, you also have this blessed hope. The hope of one day being with Jesus our Savior. Keep running the race that has been set for all of you. Run with faith knowing that He is there with you.

—Preach your faith Knowing that Jesus will give you the words to say. Don’t be afraid! Let me repeat this, don’t be frightened. God is with you, who can be against you!

May the Lord bring His Mighty Spirit to change your countries. May He do the same work and a more excellent work in your countries, so that all those lost in an empty religion which brings doubts, anger, and chaos, will finally see The Light, Jesus Christ who can bring His saving grace and peace to all who ask.
We have not forgotten you, and we will continue praying for your strength.
In Jesus’ mighty Name, I send this! Amen!

When You Boo God, I turn You Off |Moral Truths for Election Tuesday 2018

Before reading anything click to watch Bishop EW Jackson’s encouragement to black voters. I encourage every voter to take the same stand. Then please read this post…

As a registered Independent voter, I have a different view of what is going on in the political world without being subjective to one party or the next. I have voted for both party candidates in the past. But more and more, this has changed for me. I can’t or am unable to reconcile the doctrines coming from the Democratic Party anymore. They are anti everything. The overall rhetoric being conveyed from the top down, is simply frightening.

A lot of Hispanics, Blacks voters, vote because their families voted Democrat. This was my case. Before I was a Christian, I had heard how awful President Reagan was. What I kept hearing from my family and friends made my thoughts who they were.

To the point which I am now ashamed of admitting, that I grinned when we heard the President had been shot. This was in high school in the early 80s. How awful, lost and pathetic was I?

Brings me to the point I am making. We are what we hear. The social media and news outlets have a 90% negative reporting on President Trump. Even though he has done what he promised while campaigning. He has brought this country back from economic recession. Not that I am a 100% Trump supporter. He makes me cringe sometimes when he opens his mouth. This is in fact, what America is nowadays…more on that in a future post. Just remember, we elected what America is. Our reflection is who we vote in…

Compared to what we hear now in Democratic circles, if you were to take what JFK said in his State of The Union’s, he would sound very much like a conservative today…the shift in Democratic philosophy has drastically swung to the far left, almost socialist….I remember how most Democrats booed God in their 2016 convention.

This divisive crowd booed in 2012, DNC Chair Antonio Villaraigosa, had to ask three times for votes on reinserting references to God, and Jerusulem, back into the Democratic Party platform. Why? Because the Democratic Leadership knew that it had turned off a good percentage of liberal voters in the country. Some Democrats gave so many excuses when these two events happened. Yet, I see something happening that is very disconcerting. This party is becoming alarmingly secular and socialist. When people I know who are Democrats try to explain these events off as no big deal, I will stop them when I hear this and tell them:

There was a time in America when someone started a prayer, 99.9% of people would stop everything and show respect for the prayer to God. This did not happen in the prayer/ convocation in 2016 nor did it stop there.

Granted, some people defend the boo’s saying that it was the Bernieites who booed against Hillary’s nomination. But, this is my point. Some adults have become like those unruly-screaming-for-everything-they-don’t-get-kids we all see at stores. The ones the parents look and stand by like victims instead of parents….

To the sane Democrats out there, it looks like it’s your responsibility to become the parent who brings back the unruliness of your party. Before it’s too late.

This is the problem I see with the Democratic Party, they have allowed a good percentage of people to dictate and bully their agendas. It’s time for some of my family members who vote Democrat, to really think things through, before automatically voting for their Party. The videos say enough of what is happening. The news media shows off the screamer adult kids who have gotten their way throughout their lives without true parental discipline. Hence, the state we are now in. And hence, my Independence from that Party in decline…and my Independence in voting for what’s morally right, just and will glorify God!
